Throughout the 20th century in Washington, DC’s Northern Virginia suburbs, Dr. Claude Moore applied his time and financial resources toward the preservation of land and history, and toward helping to provide and expand educational opportunities for underprivileged youth. Dr. Moore served as the first chairman of the Radiology Department at George Washington University, elevating it to exemplary status as a facility for learning and treatment.
