Loudoun County Public Schools create a CTE program for health sciences in partnership with Loudoun Education Foundation. Loudoun County Public Schools(Academies of Loudoun) provides healthcare career pathways in the following programs:
- Biomedical Technology
- Health informatics
- Medical Laboratory Technology
- Pharmacy Technology
- Licensed Practical Nursing
- Radiology Technology
LPCS is home to Loudoun Academies, which includes The Monroe Advanced Technical Academy (MATA) is a Virginia Governor’s Career & Technical STEM Academy. The MATA program strives to provide significant and relevant learning in Career & Technical Education(CTE) which allows students to explore and innovate while preparing for21st century college and careers.
The mission of the Academies of Loudoun is to empower students to explore, research, collaborate, innovate, and make meaningful contributions to the world in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
